I'm ready.
I know I may be putting the cart before the horse, but I'm ready for baby #5. I love my kids. They have all made this family so special and so very dynamic. I look forward to the new blessings that will come our way.

What did you do!?!

This is Lola.
And one day I had to do some errands that took up most of my day. I knew, though, that I needed to hurry home to let the dog out to go potty (we don't have a dog house yet). So mom and I rushed home to let her out and then go back out to do a few more things. When we got home, I saw something on the floor which perplexed me.

Upon inspection, I realized what it was. It was this.

This was the remnants of the wicker basket that housed all of Mary's books. As I entered further, I saw where ground zero was. My words? "Oh Lola! What did you do!?!"
Oh to be like them.
There are some women whom I have met through a site (crosswalk.com) whom are the most crafty mommas around. I love reading their blogs to see what new project they are one. I'm oh so jealous that I cannot seem to manage my time and home in a way to be able to do some projects myself. My passion is quilting. I have grand desires for making some quilts, but they never become a reality. Some day, just maybe some day I can start blogging about my new project.
It's no wonder.
So it's no wonder I feel like I get nothing done in my day. Yes I do plenty just chasing 1 year old Mary around and nursing on demand for Veronica, but my housework and bookkeeping is sorely neglected. About a month ago I got a call from Direct TV offering us the movie channels (HBO, Showtime, Starz, Encore and a few others) for $4 more each month for 5 months. Couldn't pass that up considering Showtime has some of the most awesome series like Dexter and HBO shows True Blood and Entourage. Anyway, I decided the other day to write down the list of all the movies I've seen to date. Some of these movies I began watching during "nap-time" with every intention of just falling asleep, but with riveting plots and compelling characters, I couldn't help but watch the whole thing while the babies sleep. So, here it is ....

Wishful thinking.
So I'm usually spending most of my day thinking of the way life used to be before I married and had kids. My apartment was spotless, laundry always kept up, and well basically I lived by the motto "a place for everything and everything in it's place." Shoot, I even had a membership to a fitness center and was going every day. Then God decided to play fruit basket upset and everything changed. I must say though, our family has come a long way in the past eight years. I had every intention of being in bed 45 minutes ago (10 pm), but I looked at another person's blog and decided to resurrect this one (again... as you can see the last entry was in June). So instead of doing the "responsible" thing, which I would have done without a bat of the eye before, I'm now sitting at the computer reading forums and blogs at 11 pm.
